Some Nexus 7 2 Users Complain About Erratic Touchscreen And Keyboard

nexus-7-2-review--021While we stand by what we have concluded about the recently released Nexus 7 (2013), it seems that the latest tablet from Asus does have some issues, at least according to some users who have complained on a Google Products Forum about erratic touchscreen and keyboard issues, apart from the GPS navigational capability not working as flawlessly as expected for some, too. In fact, where the GPS issue is concerned, it has been reported that the GPS signal will stop working within 2 minutes after it was turned on, and while Google intends to roll out a fix, some Google Nexus 7 (2013) owners reportedly have received a replacement unit.

Someone who received one of such replacement units reported that the tablet is not problem free – in fact, it is facing issues with the touchscreen display, where some of the complaints include double taps, ghost taps and erratic behavior from the glass. There is also one instance of a Nexus 7 (2013) owner running into such issues with the 16GB model, and after getting a 32GB replacement, not much luck was had, either. One of the suggestions would be to start the tablet in safe mode to check out if any of the apps are causing this issue, so good luck!
