Nintendo Expands Wii U Availability On All Norwegian Cruise Lines

With the holidays right around the corner, you might want to treat your friends and family to a cruise to somewhere in the Caribbean where the water and air temperatures are much warmer than where you’re currently living now. But what if you have little ones joining you on your cruise experience who can’t tear themselves away from a video game? Well – Nintendo has made the cruising experience a little more bearable for them as the company has partnered with Norwegian Cruise Line to expand their partnership to offer Wii U systems and games throughout their entire fleet.

The partnership expansion will bring Nintendo’s Wii U video game consoles to all of the ships within Norwegian Cruise Line’s fleet, which will be located in the ships’ atriums as well as their youth and teen centers. The Wii U will also be used to hold various competitions and events on board each ship, although we’re sure they’ll have more to do with playing games on the actual systems and less to do with how many Wii U consoles you can carry on your back.

Neither Nintendo nor Norwegian Cruise Lines reveal when the expansion will begin to roll out, but we’re sure if you’re planning a cruise some time in the near future, you can expect the Wii U to be there.
