Meizu MX4 Could Be Announced On 6th Of March

meizu-franceMWC 2014 is over but that doesn’t mean that the fun has to end! In fact according to a recent invite being sent out by Meizu, the company will be holding an event in Paris on the 6th of March. Unfortunately the invite does not tell us what we might be able to expect from the company, but many are speculating that this could be when the Meizu MX4 will be officially announced.

As it stands not much is known about the Meizu MX4, but some have speculate that it will most likely pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdraon 801 chipset. Alternatively some believe that it could continue relying on the Samsung Exynos 5 chipsets which were used in the Meizu MX3 handset as well, so those are some of the possibilities.

Now for the most part, Meizu’s smartphone efforts have been limited to the Chinese market, but with this announcement taking place in Paris in France, Europe, perhaps there is a good chance that the Meizu MX4 will be launched in the European region as well.

In fact back in 2013, Meizu themselves announced that the US market would be one that they would like to break into, so perhaps we might hear more about Meizu’s international plans at their event this Thursday. However with the Meizu MX3 planned for a late launch in the US, it does seem unlikely that the Meizu MX4 might precede it. Either way we’ll find out soon enough, so check back with us on the 6th for the details!
