Vodafone Reveals Smart Power 4 Smartphone

smart4powerNot everyone is able to own a high end smartphone, and more often than not, it would be the entry level and mid-range models that are the “bread and butter” for many a smartphone manufacturing company. Vodafone has just revealed a decent smartphone that will not blow away competition like the Galaxy S5, but rather, the Smart Power 4 that ought to offer affordable performance to the masses.

Let us move on to the hardware specifications of this particular device – the Smart Power 4 from Vodafone will feature a 5-inch qHD display, running on a MediaTek MT6582 chipset alongside a quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex A7 processor. 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a microSD memory card slot helps keep it as a decent performer.

At the back of the Smart Power 4 lies a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, and connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and LTE-CAT 4. where all of it are fitted into a chassis that measures 141mm x 71.4mm x 9.5mm, where it tips the scales at 162 grams. Android 4.4 KitKat is the mobile operating system of choice, where a 3,000mAh battery keeps it running throughout the day for the average user. Expect the Vodafone Smart Power 4 to retail for £175 on Vodafone’s Pay as you go plan, although those who opt for the monthly Red 4G plan can own one for £26.50 at first.
