Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Spotted At The FCC

lenovo-yoga-fccWhenever a particular device makes an appearance over at the FCC, it goes without saying that said device is being primed for a general release in the market, although this does not seem to be the case 100% of the time, but the success rate is pretty high. Having said that, it does look as though the world ought to brace itself for a brand new tablet that hails from Lenovo, where the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 has just arrived at the FCC for approval.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 could very well be the next generation Android-powered Yoga tablet, which means you need not continue to hold your breath for a Windows-powered version – at this point in time, at least.

Listed as the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2, there is this particular line drawing of the back of the device that points to a very real possibility of it carrying a camera in the hinge itself, which is not too different from that of the original Yoga Tablet 10 that ran on Android. Connectivity options for the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 indicate Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 dual-band WiFi, and optional support for 4G LTE networks. It remains to be seen whether there will be other features thrown into the mix that will make it far superior to its predecessor, but at the very least we do hope to see a more recent version of Android arrive with the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 – when it ships, of course.
