It was revealed earlier this year that Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes will be released for the PC. This is something that many gamers welcomed. There was time required for this title to be prepared for PC and today the wait ends. As per schedule, the release date had been previously confirmed, Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes for PC has been released today and it is readily available right now through Steam.

Initially this title was available on consoles only. Popular consoles like PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One were all compatible with this game. This is the second MG title to be released for PC after Metal Gear Rising was released a few months back.

Now that it is officially available on the PC gamers would want to know just what the hardware requirements are. They have had to wait a long time for this information but earlier in the week the recommended hardware specs for MGS: Ground Zeroes was formally confirmed.

Gamers will play as Snake, the hero, and will be tasked to break into a Cuban military base to rescue hostages. This edition marks the first time that 4K compatibility has been used in the Metal Gear Solid series. MGS: Ground Zeroes for PC is being sold on Steam for $19.99.
