Mortal Kombat X Makes Its Way Onto Android

mkx androidEarly last month along the same time as the console and PC release of the game, Mortal Kombat X was also released for iOS devices, but unfortunately the Android version of the game had yet to be launched. Well the good news for gamers is that if you are looking forward to the Android version of the game, you will be pleased to learn that it is out.

At its core, Mortal Kombat X for mobile devices is still a fighting game similar in style and gameplay to its console and PC version. However with the mobile version, the developers have introduced a new card system that players can collect and upgrade. It also introduced a tag-team mode where gamers could swap between four characters on each side, online multiplayer, and even augment your character’s skills through equipment that you can purchase with in-game currency.

That being said these in-app purchases do not come cheap and are rather hefty for a mobile game. According to the folks at Pocket Gamer, they have estimated that it would cost gamers at least $300 to buy all the characters in the game, and we aren’t even talking about purchasing equipment or even skill upgrades. In any case for gamers who want to get their hand on the game, just head on over to the Google Play Store for the download.
