Blizzard Adds Sombra To Overwatch Across All Platforms

overwatch-sombraAfter months of teasing and leaving behind cryptic hints and clues, at BlizzCon 2016, Blizzard officially announced the latest character they’ll be adding to Overwatch in the form of Sombra. For those who were looking forward to taking the character for a spin, you’ll be pleased to learn that Blizzard has since added the character to the game across all platforms.

The character will be added via a patch so PC gamers will need to relaunch the Battle.net launcher to get the patch downloading. As for console gamers, you should see the patch automatically download when launched, or alternatively it could already be good to go if you have enabled background updates.

Sombra is the latest character to be added to the game but last we heard, she won’t be the last as Blizzard is said to be working on other characters. Sombra seems to be a stealth-based character with hacking abilities, and judging from her animation short introduction, she does look like a pretty fun character to play with.

Also we should remind gamers that Overwatch will be going free to play this weekend, from the 18th of November until the 21st of November. If you’ve been meaning to check the game out but don’t want to put down cash on it first, then the free weekend will be something you won’t want to miss out on.
