128GB Galaxy Note 8 Storage Option Rumored

Samsung’s current flagship smartphone – the Galaxy S8 – can only be purchased with 64GB of internal storage. The handset does have a microSD card slot so external expansion is possible. If a new rumor is to be believed, the company is going to offer significantly more internal storage with its second flagship smartphone of 2017.

Rumor has it that Samsung is going to offer the Galaxy Note 8 in 64GB and 128GB storage options. Perhaps it’s the higher storage option that makes some in the rumor mill feel that this is going to be Samsung’s most expensive smartphone to date.

There’s obviously no word as yet about the pricing for this device but if the rumors are believed, it’s going to be an expensive device, one that costs well over $1,000 in major markets across the globe.

Samsung does offer a 128GB variant of the Galaxy S8+ but that’s limited to a handful of markets. Offering up to 128GB of storage on a flagship smartphone to all customers across the globe is going to be a good move on Samsung’s part. It’s not like customers have ever complained about having too much onboard storage.

The company is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 8 in the last week of August.
