Moto X4 With Dual Cameras Reportedly Due This Year

Lenovo-owned Motorola is reportedly working on a new handset that’s going to be released in the fourth quarter of this year. According to a new report, the company now has the Moto X4 in the pipeline. It’s said to have an aluminum body with features like a dual camera, which happens to be particularly in vogue these days.

The Moto X4 will be the latest iteration to the company’s long-running Moto X series. This handset has been referred to as the Moto X 2017 in some circles but according to the famous Twitter leakster @evleaks, it’s actually going to be called the Moto X4.

Precise information about the specifications of this new handset isn’t available at this point in time. Previous reports have suggested that it’s going to have a 5.2 inch Full HD display, Android 7.1 Nougat, IP68 dust and water resistance certification as well as an 8 megapixel and 12 megapixel dual camera at the back with a 16 megapixel front camera. The handset will be powered by Android 7.1 Nougat.

It’s also said to feature a front-mounted fingerprint sensor which will not only help users control access to the device but will also be able to recognize simple gestures to duplicate the functionality of on-screen navigation buttons.

Motorola hasn’t said anything about this device so far which is why it can’t be said for sure precisely when it’s going to be released and how much it’s going to cost.
