How To Turn Off In-App Purchases on Android

In this tutorial we are going to be showing you how to seamlessly disable automatic in-app purchases, thus giving you a few seconds before ultimately making the decision whether to buy those extra credits, or preventing a malicious third-party from purposefully maxing out your credit card. The process is very simple.

  1. Open up Play Store and then hit the menu button located on the top left-hand corner.
  2. Scroll down a bit and select the Setting tab, where you will find the ‘Require authentication for purchases‘ option.
  3. Tap that and then select ‘For all purchases through Google Play on this device‘.
  4. If your phone sports a fingerprint sensor, then fingerprint authentication will be available as well.
