PSP Go Revealed
Posted on May 30, 09 03:26 PM PDT

[E3 2009] Once again, the rumors were spot on, except that we now know what the PSP Go will look like, even if the earlier concept was close. Recent leaks have appeared online in the past hour or so. The forums on PlayStation.com or Eurogamer have featured photos of the device, set to be presented officially next week at E3 2009. So, far here are the specifications that have leaked:
- The UMD drive is gone, can download content from PS Network (games, TV shows)
- It is faster than the PSP3000
- 16GB of flash
- Bluetooth (for headset, phone tethering)
- Coming "this fall"
Check the photo gallery. The video is embedded in the full post. If you wonder, the PSP 3000 will continue to exist as a product.
Update: The end of the YouTube movie suggests a a new game that could be Gran Turismo and the video mentions a new Metal Gear game for the PSP Go. Sony suggests that developers could create smaller, more "casual" games (that would be lighter to download?)
