Biker Stephen Dettman has a passion for fast motorbikes, and he has come up with the MotoMap GPS Device for Bikes concept that relies on two new technologies – powerfilm flexible solar panels as well as e-ink flexible displays. The MotoMap will handle typical issues such as hardware mounting and lack of compatibility, wrapping itself around the fuel tank with the help of magnets within the adjustable straps to keep the device in place even when you’re tearing up the asphalt. In addition, you can always flip it the other way around when you’re not using it so that the solar panel can get to work, storing up juice for those lost moments. Don’t think it will enter production anytime soon though.
