Porsche has come up with the 918 Spyder plug-in electric hybrid concept car which offers traditional rubber-burning performance without guzzling down a whole lot of fuel – we’re talking about hitting a whopping 78 miles per gallon (!), where it can travel up to 16 miles on electric charge alone. And just how fast do you think this puppy is? We’re talking about touching 0-60mph in all of 3.2 seconds – yes, you read that right. It does make you wonder how the 78mpg figure is reached with 500 horses residing underneath the hood though, so hopefully someone will be able to shed more light on such phenomenal returns.
