You know those rice rockets that terrorize your neighborhood? Well, the same sort of thinking has translated to bicycles, with the Turbospoke – it might just bring back memories of placing a baseball card in the spoke of your bicycle wheel just to make it sound a whole lot cooler than it actually is. Turbospoke will feature a set of strong plastic cards which are positioned between the spokes of your rear tire, where they are connected to a tube that has been shaped to resemble an exhaust pipe.
