Full HD 3D Glasses Initiative logoRemember earlier last month when the Full HD 3D Glasses Initiative project was announced? Samsung, Sony, Panasonic and Xpand 3D had announced that they were going to create a standard for 3D glasses; so that consumers will only need one pair of 3D glasses that they can use with their home 3D devices and when they go to the movies. Well, it looks like other TV manufacturers think it’s a good idea too, because since the announcement, four new companies have expressed their support for the Full HD 3D Glasses Initiative.Royal Philips Electronics, Sharp Corporation, TCL Corporation and Toshiba Corporation are now onboard with the Full HD 3D Glasses Initiative and will also be creating 3D displays that endorse the new standard. Prepare for 3D to be standardized beginning next month. Keep a look out for products that bear the Full HD 3D Glasses Initiative logo in the near future. Find out more + Press Release
