Samsung Galaxy Note sequel is a tablet? In the past we’ve had rumors about Samsung’s GT-N8XXX devices being the sequel to the Galaxy Note, but judging by the latest uncovered FCC documents, they might be Samsung’s new tablets instead. It has been reported that Samsung’s FCC documents for the GT-N8010 and GT-N8013 are clearly listed as “Portable Tablet Computer(s)”. As to what the tablets are, nobody knows for sure. They could be something new that Samsung plans to unveil during MWC next month or they could be variations of existing tablets. Whatever the case is, it looks like Samsung has got some new devices up its sleeves.

Galaxy Note: The Samsung Galaxy Note was introduced by Samsung during IFA 2011 in Berlin. It was the first smartphone to break the 5" display size barrier with an 5.3" 720p Super-AMOLED display. The international (non-US) version was powered by a Samsung Samsung Exynos 4210, while the U.S version used a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255T. In terms of storage, the Galaxy Note came with 16GB or 32GB of internal flash memory, which could be supplemented with a microSD card. The battery has a capacity of 2500mAh, which was nice at the time, but has been surpassed since by the Galaxy Note 2, which has a 3100mAh battery.
