We looked at a preview of the Bethesda Creation Kit and Skyrim Workshop on video earlier this afternoon, but somehow missed out something important – those who play Skyrim on the PC will be pleased to know that patch 1.4 is now ready and waiting for you to download it from Steam. This patch does not really deliver too much difference or changes in terms of major fixes, it is still highly anticipated by the PS3 crowd since it is touted to do away with the rather strange lag problems which plagued PS3 players thus far. Guess PS3 owners will just have to wait for their turn, while PC gamers can continue killing dragons and making silly jokes about taking an arrow to my [insert body part]. Bethesda is looking at a week or so where the Skyrim update 1.4 for the PS3 will arrive, as all they are waiting for is approval from Sony and Microsoft. Lag-free gaming – something gamers are entitled to considering the amount of money they pay for it, but sometimes, it is good to experience plenty of lag as one pays homage to the days when we played multiplayer Doom over a 14.4kbps modem.
