If you’re looking for an app that tracks your friends via their Facebook IDs, you’re in luck. A new app titled Find My Facebook Friends has just hit the Apple App Store and will let you do just that. It functions just like Apple’s own Find My Friends app but instead of tracking them via their Apple ID/iCloud account, it uses Facebook to link you and your friends. The app will inform you whenever you’re nearby your friends and will let you contact them directly via the app. Users can also set their location preferences based on each friend or lists.
However, it looks like the app isn’t going to be very useful to you unless your friends download this app as well – and considering that it isn’t free, a lot of people are going to have a problem with it.
