Black and white colored ‘Home’ buttons for what is called the iPhone 5 were discovered on sale by the folks over at Apple Bitch earlier on Monday at TVC-Mall’s website. The china-based retailer claims to be selling the component for the alleged phone. While the shape of the alleged home button remains circular, the design which would anchor the button in place differs from the structure seen in previous ‘home’ buttons.

As opposed to a circular button with two little piece jutting outwards on each side to hold it in place, the new button features a square edge with the circular button in the middle. If this information turns out to be true, it would mean a redesign internally given the different fitting of the alleged new ‘home’ button which looks exactly like the old one. On top of that, it shows that Apple has begun working on prototypes of the device that is rumored to launch sometime this fall. With all the rumors revolving around Apple’s upcoming flagship phone, this just adds another one to the mix so as usual, do take this bit of information with the sufficient amount of salt.
