The battle between Apple and Samsung has been going on for quite a while now, and at this point in time it really just seems that the people benefiting the most from this would the lawyers working for either company. It would also seem that the judge presiding over the lawsuit seems to have gotten tired of it all as well, and after a particularly long day in the court,  Judge Lucy Koh asked the lawyers from both sides as to when this case would resolve. She went on to state, “I don’t want to order anyone to meet again because it hasn’t proven successful so far, but is there anything else that can be done? I’ve said this all along, it’s time for global peace.”

Samsung’s attorney, Charles Verhoeven was even quoted as saying that they are willing, and that the ball’s in Apple’s court. So far Apple has managed to make peace with HTC in a 10-year licensing agreement, and when asked if Samsung might be interested in reaching an agreement with Apple, Samsung’s Mobile Chief, J.K. Shin was quoted as saying that the company had no intentions of negotiating with Apple, which seems to be a stark contrast to their attorney, but perhaps Samsung might have had a change of mind since then.
