There are probably many gamers out there who are drooling over the white PlayStation 4 and Xbox One units, but if you’re a little tired of black or white consoles, how does the idea of gold consoles sound to you? Nope, we’re not talking about a gold paint job, but rather a console made from actual gold!
Well if you are or if you’re wondering what such consoles might look like, you could be interested to learn that over in Dubai, it seems that a retailer by the name of Jumbo Electronics has decided to start selling these gold consoles which will be priced at a whopping $13,700. Imagine how many normal console units you could buy with that money!
However this isn’t the first time we’ve seen gold consoles as back in 2013, Harrods stocked a gold plated Xbox One as well although it was priced slightly cheap and was a lot more shiny than these models. According to the retailer, these gold consoles will feature a rose gold case created by Italian jeweller Gatti.
The retailer adds, “We are particularly excited to be launching the most unique and valuable gaming consoles in the world at Games14, specially created by Gatti. Available to both Xbox and PS4 fans, the high-end materials and exquisite detailing of the gold consoles make it a great collectible item for gamers who love luxury.” So, any takers?
