It was first reported last year that Tinder may launch premium options for a monthly subscription. The new features were to be bundled into a subscription based package called Tinder Plus. Now Tinder Plus has finally gone live. Price points vary depending upon your location, and age, yes age is a differentiating factor here. Features include the ability to undo a left swipe and being able to search for potential matches in places other than where you currently live.

If you’re under the age of 30 you can subscribe to Tinder Plus for $9.99. If not, for users older than 30, Tinder is charging $19.99 per the premium features.

The pricing structure is quite fluid. Tinder is charging different in emerging markets, as low as $1.99 per month, while users in the United Kingdom will pay up to $23.

We have known for a while that Tinder was experimenting with different price points but at least one thing is clear now. The world’s most popular dating app is going to charge more from older users.

Apart from the two features mentioned above users who pay money for a subscription will get unlimited likes. This means that users who don’t pay will get a finite number of likes. Tinder has not fully explained how likes, or lack thereof, will affect users who just want to get their smartphone dating game on without having to pay up for another subscription.
