GoPro is no stranger when it comes to the action camera category, and the brand has since grown to such a level where it is touted to be a market leader, with their products being great ambassadors as well. If you are in two minds about whether you should pick up a GoPro, perhaps the video above would prove to be the tipping point. The GoPro camera above was discovered by Kristoffer Örstadius’s father in a field that is located outside of Kristianstad, Sweden.

Apparently, the memory card within the GoPro camera remained intact, and when the video within was played back, a little bit of deduction can be made. It looked as though the GoPro camera in question took an unauthorized jump from 10,000 feet above ground. The more shocking thing is, this happened not just yesterday or last week, but four years ago!

Having decided to post the video to YouTube not too long ago to hunt down the owner, Örstadius’ video picked up tens of thousands of views in a short period of time. The owner was discovered yesterday, who happened to be a skydiver based in the city of Everöd, Sweden. Hence, this camera was subsequently reunited with its owner, along with the memory card, of course. Home sweet home! Improbable by most accounts, but truth is stranger than fiction.
