Microsoft has been pretty aggressive lately with its softwares and services that are increasingly being opened up for rival platforms, the company today updated its Outlook app for iOS which now features support for the Apple Watch. Outlook users can catch up with email on their Apple smartwatch once they update to the latest version of this app.

Through Outlook on Apple Watch users can look at their email, go through notifications of incoming emails and also send limited replies.

Since the Apple Watch doesn’t offer a native keyboard you can’t exactly punch out a reply but the app does offer preset replies which can be used to respond to emails at any time. Those who would like to send detailed replies can use voice dictations, the app also features emojis.

Users can also glance at what’s next in their calendar using this application and take advantage of custom notifications to instantly clear their email queue.

This isn’t the first Microsoft app that has support for the Apple Watch, the company has already updated apps such as Skype, PowerPoint, OneNote and OneDrive with support for Apple’s wearable device.

Those who don’t have an Apple Watch need not worry, Microsoft promises to roll out a new update Outlook for iOS soon with a handful of new features.
