Earlier this year we reported that a screen protector called the Halo Back gave your iPhone a back button. It was an intriguing idea and if you want to give your iPhone additional touch capabilities, you might be interested in a Kickstarter project for an iPhone called the HandyCase which will give the back of your iPhone touch capabilities.

What this means is that users will be able to perform touch gestures via the back of their phone. This will come in handy if your hands are a bit too small for the phone and you want to use it with one hand. By introducing touch capabilities, users will be able to use the phone with one hand to browse websites, user the camera, pinch to zoom, and so on.

One of the more interesting features of the case is also the ability to see your hands through the phone. In reality this is more like a depiction of where your hands are based on where you’re touching, giving users the illusion that their phone’s display is transparent. We’re not sure if there’s a goal to this or if it was created just to look cool.

While the HandyBack is a great idea, there is a drawback. The drawback to the case is that it will only work with apps that have been designed for it. This means that it won’t work with all your apps, thus limiting its functionality. In any case if this sounds like an interesting idea, hit up its Kickstarter page to learn more or donate to the project.
