550_redAbout a week ago, specs of the rumored Microsoft Lumia 550 made their way online. Now thanks to the folks at WMPoweruser, it would seem that they have successfully managed to get their hands on several leaked renders of the upcoming handset, showing off the four colors that the phone is said to be available in.

Its design is rather nondescript and according to the rumors, it will be available in bright red, black, white, or bright blue, depending on your personal preference. Now as a quick recap on its specs for those who missed our earlier report, the Lumia 550 is expected to be a low-mid range device.

It will come with a 4.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 720×1280. There will be 8GB of internal storage (which we assume can be expanded via microSD), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core chipset, 4G LTE connectivity, and it looks like the previous rumors of an onscreen Back, Start, and Search buttons are true as well.

Microsoft has confirmed that they will be hosting an event on the 6th of October in which they will be announcing new products. These products are said to include the Surface Pro 4, Microsoft’s new flagship Lumia phones, and now presumably the Lumia 550 as well.
