lumia_950_xlAccording to the rumors, Microsoft has two new high-end Windows 10 Mobile devices in the works dubbed the Lumia 950 and 950 XL. There has been no word on when they will be launched or how much it will be priced, but thanks to French Windows Phone website SmartphoneFrance.info (via WMPoweruser), some details have been revealed.

Starting with its launch, the report claims that both phones are expected to be announced on the 6th of October. Pre-orders are said to be begin shortly after with the phones officially going on sale on the 28th of October, several weeks after its official announcement. Now in terms of pricing, it seems that both devices won’t be particularly cheap.

Windows Phone handsets have usually been on the more affordable side, but the rumors are saying that the Lumia 950 and 950 XL will be priced on the higher side of things, and will only be slightly cheaper than the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The upside to this is that Microsoft will be bundling about 200 euros worth of accessories with the devices.

While it cannot be confirmed, these accessories include a Continuum dock, a wireless charger, possibly wireless speakers, and a treasure tag-like accessory. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but if the 6th of October date is true, this means we only have a few weeks left of waiting to do.
