As you might have heard, Nike has limited pairs of its self-lacing shoes that are essentially replicas of the model that was worn in the Back to the Future movie. The raffle to win these shoes was held earlier this month, and a recent video has surfaced in which one of the winners unboxed the shoes and put them on.

Now if you’re a sneakerhead then chances are you know that these shoes are extremely limited with only 89 models being made. Apparently these shoes are so coveted that in a recent auction in Hong Kong, one pair was sold for a whopping $100,000, which when you think about it isn’t too bad of a price to pay to own a piece of tech and movie history.

Like we said, there are only 89 pairs available and the guy in the video, Chris, won the 87th pair. He claims that ever since he revealed that he won a pair, he has been getting tons of offers from people across the internet, including celebrities, who were basically throwing money at him just so that they can buy it off him.

We’re not sure if Chris ever plans to sell these shoes off, but we reckon he’s probably better off keeping them somewhere safe and secure to preserve their longevity. In the meantime if you did not manage to win yourself one of the 89 Nike MAGs, not to worry because in November, Nike will be selling another version of their self-lacing shoes that should be more accessible.
