So you think that your iPhone is secure and safe from prying eyes because you have a passcode activated? Think again. According to a report from DigiWorthy, it seems that a new iOS flaw has been discovered that basically allows whoever the hacker is to bypass the passcode on your iOS device and access your photos.

Given the huge fallout we saw following the leaked iCloud photos of celebrities, it’s safe to say that gaining access to one’s private photos could be just as devastating as someone accessing your financial information. Thankfully it seems that in order to pull off this hack, users will need physical access to the phone, and there are certain variables that need to be met in order for it to work.

This means that it isn’t quite as easy to pull off this hack as one might think, not to mention the number of steps required is also pretty long. At the same time a flaw is a flaw and someone who is determined to get into your phone will probably find some way to do it anyway. Apple has yet to comment on the issue, but we can only assume that if they weren’t aware already, they are now and we can expect that a fix will be released soon to address it.

In the meantime if you want to see the flaw being exploited, you can check it out for yourself in the video above put together by the folks at EverythingApplePro.
