Korean company Kia aims to bring the fight against global warming by further enhancing the efficiency of their vehicles, with the new Air Propulsion and Retardation Installation Line system option being made available for the Soul. This system aims to reduce fuel consumption by capturing energy generated from wind that passes by the car, churning it into additional forward momentum when you need that extra boost of speed, or even doubling up as a parachute force in order to slow down the vehicle. Kia’s tests have shown this system to be effective enough to reduce fuel consumption by up to 25% in windy weather. We find it to be rather challenging separating the real stories from fake ones each time April 1st rolls around. Happy April Fool’s, everyone!
