HP has just announced that they will be including a music subscription service on its computers that will see action in Europe. Similar to the Zune Pass business model, the computer-based version of MusicStation opens the door to unlimited access to its music catalog, costing 10 Euros monthly. The good part is this – you can keep 10 tracks per months, which works out to one Euro per track. This is similar to the US deal with RealNetworks for Rhapsody, but on Europe where iTunes does not wield that much influence, it could help tip the favor and open up another source of income for the top PC maker in the world.
