KTM Freeride electric bike

KTM is more than ready to roll out its Freeride electric bike for the masses, where it will come in a couple of versions – the supermoto will target those who are on the road, while the endure will handle all off-road excursions that come your way. The Freeride is based around a lightweight delta box frame with forged aluminum components to keep it lightweight, where the normal gasoline-powered engine will be replaced by a compact 30 horsepower electric motor which has the ability to churn out 43Nm of torque, while being able to hit a top speed of 43 mph. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack is used to supply electricity to the motor, where it takes a mere 1.5 hours to hit a maximum charge which results in approximately an hour of continuous riding. Expect the KTM Freeride to come at a not-so-free price of $13,500.
