Samsung mass produces super wide LCD panels
Samsung has gotten their act together by mass producing 43″ super wide LCD panels that area meant to function as Digital Information Displays (DIDs), targeting public transport stations, airports and malls among others. Anything shown will be displayed in a panoramic ratio of 4:1 at HD ready resolution, while you can also modify it to split the widescreen into a trio of screens at VGA resolution. We wonder where would we see the first of these in action though…
