Crestron iPanel Turns Your iPad Into A home Automation Device
Home automation is a hot topic nowadays, and it shouldn’t be too surprising, given its popularity, to see the iPad show up to be involved in some way or another. Instead of having to come up with a whole device and charge a bomb for it, Crestron has come up with the iPanel, which is a controller case that can be combined with Apple’s iPad in order to control household electronics. At $500, it’s about half the price of a typical touchscreen controller from Crestron. You’ll get thirteen dedicated buttons for home, lights, and various other functions.
