HP goes all businesslike with Mini 1103 netbook

The netbook isn’t normally touted to be a business-centric device, as it is meant to be more of a highly portable computing device that isn’t able to handle all the heavy duty computing tasks. Well, HP intends to go against the grain with their latest Mini 1103 netbook – unlike what its name might suggest, the Mini 1103 sports a 10.1-inch, 1024 x 600 LED-backlit display, accompanied by a keyboard which is 93% the size of a notebook, running on an Intel Atom 1.66GHz processor, 1GB RAM (upgradeable to 2GB), a 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, optional HP Mobile Broadband module, as well as a three-cell battery, all tipping the scales at 2.8lbs. Depending on what you want to cram inside, pricing for the vanilla Mini 1103 starts from $300 upwards. There isn’t any wor on a release date yet though, so we will keep our eyes peeled on this one.
