Sony introduces its CLM-V55 5-inch clip-on LCD for its DSLR cameras
While using DSLR cameras to shoot videos are increasingly common, do you often feel that the display on the camera is too small for your taste? Well, the good news for Sony users out there is that there is a solution, as long as you have money. The company has announced its CLV-V55 accessory that is a 5-inch clip-on display featuring a WVGA 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The CLM-V55 can be attached to most interchangeable lens cameras and compatible HD camcorders with an auto-lock accessory shoe or ISO shoe via an adapter (that Sony bundles). It can also be connected to other devices via an HDMI port and is capable of tilting and swiveling. Sony Europe says that the CLM-V55 will be released in March, and while there isn’t any official confirmation, speculation is that it’ll be priced at $505.
