HP introduces TouchSmart 610 and 9300 all-in-one PCs

It was previously said that Apple didn’t want to include a touchscreen on its iMacs because it wouldn’t be ergonomic. Now HP has come up with a solution to that, by allowing its TouchSmart 610 and 9300 Elite Business PCs to feature displays that can recline up to 60 degrees, ensuring that the surface is a lot easier to prod. The 23-inch displays feature a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and the TouchSmart 610 features its latest TouchSmart software layer, offering finger-friendly Hulu, Netflix and Twitter apps.

The 610 features Intel and AMD desktop processor options, up to 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, Blu-ray drive, 1.3-megapixel camera and Beats Audio speakers. The 9300 offers Intel’s latest Sandy Bridge processors, a 160GB SSD option, 2-megapixel camera, along with facial recognition software. The 610 will set you back from $900 and will be available on February 9th, while the 9300 is slated to arrive in May, though pricing wasn’t mentioned.
