Samsung Infuse 4G hits the FCC

The Samsung Infuse 4G was spotted over at CES 2011 earlier this year, where this super slim Android-powered smartphone will come with a rather generous 4.5″ touchscreen display, not to mention an 8-megapixel camera as well as a single core 1.2GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor to keep things running fine and dandy from within. Well, last Friday saw the Infuse 4G arrive on the FCC as the SGH-i997, where it will support both GSM 850 and 1900 frequencies, not to mention WCDMA bands II and V. The more technologically savvy among you will know that those bands play nice with AT&T’s service Stateside, so that means T-Mobile is out of the picture for the moment. Apart from that, FCC test reports did point to dual band 802.11 b/g/n support and Bluetooth connectivty. We think that the Infuse 4G is ready to arrive pretty soon after passing the FCC’s rigorous schedules.
