Chromebooks go on sale

Google just tweeted that they will finally sell their Chromebooks – as part of a pre-order package, of course. It has been a long ride to this day from when Google first announced the commencement of their Chromebooks a couple of years ago, and Google tweeted, “Nothing but the web: Samsung & Acer  #Chromebooks now available for pre-order from  @Amazon and  @BestBuy in the US, http://t.co/LpY0jWU, Pre-order from Best Buy or Amazon.”

Those who are interested will be able to place a pre-order for a Chromebook from either Best Buy or Amazon, where these devices will start to ship on the 15th of this month onwards. At point of publishing, those pre-orders will be limited to folks living Stateside, although we do hope that Google will fulfill the promise of introducing Chromebooks to other countries sooner rather than later.
