OWC Mercury EXTREME Pro 6G SSD has 5-year warranty

What makes the OWC Mercury EXTREME Pro 6G SSD so special? Well it is the first of its kind in the industry that will offer an enterprise-class level 5 year warranty. This is no slouch by any means, being a high performance SSD that will itself at home in consumer and prosumer single drive production workstations as well as multi-drive RAID 0/1/10/SPAN configurations. 

OWC will also offer a “bonus” of sorts, by retroactively extending a couple of additional years of warranty coverage to owners of the Mercury EXTREME Pro 6G – a select group who picked up their drive from the middle of April 2011 when it was first accompanied by a three year warranty. This is always good news to consumers and customers alike, and at least two-month old owners of the SSD won’t feel cheated at all in any way.

Available in 120GB, 240GB and 480GB models, the OWC Mercury EXTREME Pro 6G SSD will not be cheap where the largest capacity model is concerned though, retailing for $297.99, $569.99 and $1279.99, respectively.
