Vinci tablet for toddlers now up for pre-order

We’re not sure why exactly parents would want to buy a tablet for their toddler, but if you have $389 to spare then perhaps Rullingnet’s Vinci tablet which made its debut in January could be a tablet worth considering for your child.

With a display of 7-inches with 800 x 480 resolution, featuring a rugged casing and a 3 megapixel camera with Android’s Froyo on board it will be missing wireless capabilities, but parents can update the apps via microUSB. It will also feature a 1GHz Cortex A8 chip processor with 512MB of RAM.

The tablet also comes pre-loaded with educational content such as 3D games, music videos, and an animated storybook. A slightly more expensive version of the tablet is also being offered at $479 with the main difference being that the more expensive version comes with a 6 hour battery life which is 3 hours longer than the cheaper version, and will also come with more educational content loaded on it.

According to its homepage the Vinci tablet is expected to be launched 10th of August but eager parents can head on down to Amazon.com to pre-order the tablet today.
