In terms of hardware specs, we can expect a 10.1” display with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N2600 processor. It will also feature 2GB of RAM, a 5400rpm SATA hard drive with up to 320GB of internal storage, Intel GMA 3600 graphics, three USB 2.0 ports, a GbE port, media card reader, a VGA webcam, 93% full-sized keyboard (which is also apparently spill resistant), a multi-touch capacitive touchpad and will come loaded with Windows 7.
HP also promises up to 9 hours of run time and will come with security management features such as the Trusted Platform Module 1.2 embedded security chip and HP ProtectTools. If this sounds like a netbook you wouldn’t mind getting your hands on, the HP Mini 1104 starts at $399. For more information or if you’d like to place an order, head on over to HP’s website.
