Sportiiiis heads-up display for athletes

[CES 2012] 4iiii Innovations has just announced the Sportiiiis (pronounced as Sport-Eyes), which is a heads up display and audio feedback system which can be attached to sport eyewear in order to deliver real-time visual feedback of critical performance data to athletes. This might not make you be able to beat your best time in a half-marathon practice every single time, but at least it helps you keep track of your performance at that very point in time in order to help you focus and maximize the benefits of your workout to step up your performance and form without being distracted and taking your eyes off the road.

Being compact enough to attach itself to just about any pair of glasses, the Sportiiiis was designed to work with ANT+ technology, helping guide you through pre-programmed zones for heart rate, speed, power, cadence, and pace among others. This visual feedback intends to help athletes achieve their goals faster while shortening their race time. It will retail for $199 a pop and boasts the cool feature of having 7 multi-colored LEDs positioned within view of one’s secondary vision so that he/she is able to focus on the workout itself while receiving critical feedback in real-time. Not much of a reader? Fret not, there is also audio feedback thanks to TipTap technology.
