Ion Jukebox Dock for iPad is nostalgic [Updated]

We’ve seen plenty of cool iOS docks in the past, but if you’re a fan of retro/vintage and you’re looking for a unique dock for your iPad, the Ion Jukebox Dock for the iPad could very well be the dock you are looking for.

Based on the photo above, integration of the iPad into the dock appears to be rather seamless, and on first glance you could be forgiven if you did not see the iPad all comfortably nested in its slot. While its tech specs remain unknown at this point in time, what we do know is that it essentially acts as a speaker dock and a charging station, with neon lighting to match and even a woodgrain finish to top it all off.

According to its list of features, the Jukebox Dock will work with a number of jukebox apps and sports “built-in high-quality stereo speakers”. However if you do not own an iPad, the good news is that 1/8” input that lets you connect the Jukebox Dock to a variety of other gadgets, such as iPhones or iPods. No word on pricing or availability for now. [Product page]

Update – Thanks to a tip by our reader, we now know that the Ion Jukebox Dock for the iPad will be seeing a launch in May/June 2012 and will retail for $99 for the small version, and $249 for the larger version. Thanks Daniel Marti!
