Unlike the system of the old, this new system deployed by Cape Air is said to have been built from scratch, using modular and scalable technologies. If this means what we think it means, there is a chance that Google could be eyeing larger airline companies in the future when it comes to using their new system.
According to Cape Air, this new ITA booking platform will allow for easier shopping of tickets, self-service tools for making changes in reservations and itineraries and a booking blow that’s both “smooth and secure”.
