Verizon rolling out Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR MAXX updates

Heads up Motorola Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR MAXX owners, it looks like an update is headed your way! Unfortunately this isn’t the highly-anticipated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update, but updates are still a good thing and welcome anyway, right? In this case, both Motorola and Verizon have outed the update which includes improved device stability, optimized device performance which will also lead to improved battery life (Droid RAZR owners should be particularly pleased by that one), improved WiFi hotspot connectivity along with a host of other improvements, enhancements and bug fixes. This ought to bump your phone’s firmware version to 6.12.181. To see the rest of the changelog, head on over to Verizon’s website for the details along with instructions on how to update your phone’s software.
