Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 could shelter Exynos quad-core processor
Much has been written about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, where the AT&T model has been caught running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the wild, while the GPU results did point to improved results, and it seems that recently leaked performance data do indicate the possibility of a quad-core Exynos 4412 processor alongside the Mali-604T GPU which theoretically, does more than just double the performance as compared to what is being employed at the moment underneath the hood. Just to get a better idea on where the Exynos 4412 processor will see action, the recently introduced Galaxy S3 has this processor running too, which on paper, ought to ensure the Galaxy S3 remains at the top of the heap where the fastest smartphone available is concerned, so assuming this quad-core processor has been translated over to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, then one can also expect, on paper, a speedy performance to boot.
