Samsung releases source code for AT&T and T-Mobile’s Galaxy S3

If stock Android or the tweaked versions of Android that usually arrives on manufacturer’s devices isn’t for you, and you’re looking for something more, then custom ROMs available via websites such as RootzWiki or XDA Developers are places you’ll want to go in order to get your hands on them. The good news is that if you recently bought the Galaxy S3 and you’re looking for a custom ROM to flash onto the device, Samsung has recently released the source code for both the AT&T and T-Mobile versions of the Galaxy S3. While they have yet to be released (T-Mobile’s version will be released in two batches), what this means is that developers can already start to download the code and begin tinkering away and hopefully will have something ready for Galaxy S3 owners in no time! In the meantime for those curious as to what goes into the source code of a phone, you will be able to download the source code from here (AT&T) and here (T-Mobile).
