Samsung Galaxy S3 has S Health personal wellness app

So you have the Samsung Galaxy S3 as your favorite new smartphone, and just exactly what have you done with it – other than to show it off to the rest of your mates? Enter the S Health personal wellness app which is capable of collecting health data of the smartphone owner in order to help you live out a healthier lifestyle. I guess this would mean it is most effective if you are not exactly big on health at this point in your life, where the application itself is compatible with a range of healthcare sensors including blood glucose meters, blood pressure monitors and body composition scales. All your health measurements will be sent automatically to the Galaxy S3 over a Bluetooth or USB connection.

S Health will then make use of this data by turning them into graphs or tables, making it a whole lot easier to check out the full picture of your health. It will not require any form of rocket science, since it delivers in a digestible, easy-to-understand format. You are also able to enter data manually for diet, exercise, medication intake, or other pertinent health criteria. S Health is now available in the US and Western Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain) and Korea, downloadable via Samsung’s More Services. [Press Release]
